Deep Thinking - VLC - Sheet Music/Backing Tracks

Based on a call-and-response dynamic where the piano leads with the “call”—playing a specific rhythm that the student immediately copies—“Deep Thinking” was described by most students as simple yet enigmatic when they first heard it. Featuring a clear melody, it creates a rich, nuanced soundscape, with repetition and an accelerating tempo adding to its mysterious character.

It’s a fantastic tool for working on rhythm using the open D string while keeping students focused on crucial details such as posture and tone production. As one observant student put it, “It’s like there’s always a question to be answered.”

Is that really the case?
