123 123 123 123 - VLN - Sheet Music
Vibrant right from the first note, this piece is an absolute joy to teach. While your students play a clean, accessible mix of crotchets (quarter notes), minims (half notes), and semibreves (whole notes), the backing track drives the momentum forward with continuous triplets—the clever inspiration behind the title 123 123 123 123!
Despite the straightforward student rhythm, the music feels wonderfully light and buoyant. Divided into two sections—one in a major key and one in a minor key—and featuring a clever contrast between short and long bow strokes, it’s a brilliant tool for mastering bow distribution and getting comfortable in C major.
Best of all? Its cheerful, upbeat character means your students will actually ask to play it on repeat. (Trust me, it happens in my studio all the time!)
