When I Look at You - VLN - Sheet Music
Tenderness, delicacy, and sensitivity are at the heart of “When I Look at You.” From the very first notes, students and teachers will discover a piece that invites them to play with warmth and musical expression.
Written mainly on the A string, with some passages on E, it provides a natural, progressive way for students to develop confidence and control on the A string. Along the way, they will explore legato playing, bow distribution, and the natural breathing of a musical phrase.
And just when the musical journey seems to be coming to an end, a final fermata awaits them, giving students the opportunity to pause, listen, and bring the piece to an expressive conclusion.
A beautiful piece that encourages students to listen, feel, and express—one that is sure to touch everyone who hears it.
