Oops, my bolts! - VLN - Sheet Music
What happens when a bunch of robots decide to form a music band? Find out with “Oops, My Bolts!”, a playful, upbeat piece driven by a fun melody and an infectious light-pop accompaniment.
Written for the violin’s two central strings (A and D), this piece introduces a nice extra challenge for students by giving them the chance to use the 4th finger. Divided into two distinct sections, it takes players on a playful adventure: the first part shines with a lyrical character, but soon a mechanical glitch happens—the music turns a bit darker, locking into a repeating pattern of four quavers (eighth notes).
Don’t worry, it’s just a false alarm! Everything clears up as the piece loops back to the beginning for an energetic conclusion.
