This is my Story - VLN - Sheet Music
This is the story of a child who dreams of the future. A playful opening captures the innocence of childhood, before the music becomes more ethereal as the child’s imagination takes flight. The final section brings us back to that same joyful innocence.
Built around the rhythmic pattern of four quavers followed by two crotchets, the piece develops rapid finger movements and string crossings using smooth legato bowing. Written mainly on the E and A strings, with just one note on D, it offers a focused technical challenge wrapped in an imaginative musical story.
And… what’s your story?
